The Bright Red team have a busy couple of weeks ahead attending three Science teachers' conferences and we hope to see you at one of them! We always enjoy getting out to events – we create books for teachers and students so it's great to leave our desks and meet our customers in person.
Tomorrow, 24 May, John and Sabrina will be in Stirling for the Institute of Physics conference showing off our bestselling Physics Study Guides.
On Friday 26 May, Alan and John are attending the Nigel Botting Meeting for Teachers of Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh. We hope to see some new faces at this new venue.
Last, but not least, Rosie and our newest team member, Laura, will attend the Royal Society of Biology Scotland Annual Teachers' meeting at Surgeon's Hall in Edinburgh on Thursday 1 June. Laura is looking forward to her first conference experience!

It was brilliant to meet with Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP, Minister for Further Education, Higher Education and Science, today to talk about our amazing partnership with Prof Bill Buchanan at Edinburgh Napier University which created our Digital Zone.
Following on from the success of the Digital Zone, we are delighted to announce a new project with Edinburgh Napier University, supported by funding from Scottish Enterprise.
Our innovative gaming-based assessment tool, Game of Active Learning (GoAL), will offer a completely new way for students to study and learn within a gaming environment. The year ahead is going to be exciting...watch this space!
