The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) is a national body supported by the Scottish Government to provide development, accreditation, assessment and certification of qualifications in Scotland.
From school students and trainees, to those already in employment looking to further their knowledge or learn new skills, SQA provides courses for everyone regardless of skills, previous qualifications or experience.
SQA is responsible for all qualifications in Scotland apart from degrees, including units, courses and group awards.
